The victim alleges that she was forced to hush up the matter by luring her with money. Also, the victim's family was not allowed to leave the house. Meanwhile, as soon as she got the opportunity, she along with her husband reached the Mahila Sadar police station and lodged a complaint.

Sadar police station in-charge Gautam Kumar told that a complaint has been received from the victim. Soon the culprit will be arrested. The victim told the police that on the night of May 16, Satyendra Singh, the brother-in-law of Mukhiya Anjana, had carried out the incident. He reached the woman's house at around 10.30 pm and told her that her husband had fallen on the road under the influence of alcohol. When the woman came out of her house in a panic, the criminal pressed her face with a saree and took her to a deserted place.

There the incident of rape with her was carried out. After about 1 hour, when the woman's husband reached home from Tilak program, he saw that the door was open during the night and the wife was also missing from the house. After a little research, she was found in an inebriated condition on the toddy. The victim called a panchayat in the morning, but no conclusion was reached. Thereafter, the victim's family was not allowed to leave the house. Somehow she reached the police station and filed a case against the culprit. Police say that further action will be taken according to the investigation.
