New Delhi: The country's first Regional Transit Rapid Rail (Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail) will start running on the tracks by the end of this year. According to media reports, the train will start from December between Duhai and Sahibabad station. It will then be fully operational on its 82 km long corridor by 2025. This train will initially have six coaches attached. Coaches will also be increased if the number of passengers increases or the demand for carrying goods increases. However, a maximum of 9 coaches will be kept in this train.

Gujarat is constructing a six-coach rapid rail to run on this corridor. Tell me that the metro in Meerut city will also run on the same track. According to the information received, the metro in Meerut will run with three coaches, it will be called light metro. Rapid rail will start later this year. According to media reports, this is India's first regional transit rapid rail. This will also reduce the distance between delhi and main cities of western UP.

According to the report, this train will also carry parcels of the online market. Therefore, it is expected that in 2025, there will be a need to increase the coaches only a few months or a year after the train runs. According to the plan, the metro in Meerut city will also run on the same track. The metro in Meerut will have three coaches known as Light Metro.
