Saraikela: Police have made a major revelation in the case of the murder of former MLA Arvind Singh's brother-in-law on the night of June 29 at Adityapur in Saraikela district of Jharkhand. In the case of the murder of businessman Kanhaiya Singh, Saraikela police have said that the murder was carried out due to a love affair and revenge in which the daughter of the deceased was also involved. SP Anand Prakash and SIT team president Harvinder Singh said that Kanhaiya Singh's murder was a result of a love disturbance and the torture of Rajveer Singh's family and the expulsion of Adityapur.
Rajveer was angry with both these incidents. For this, Rajveer Singh took the help of his girlfriend and Kanhaiya Singh's daughter Aparna and friend Nikhil Gupta to carry out the murder. The SP said that the mastermind behind Kanhaiya Singh's murder became his daughter who was giving moment-to-moment news and location to the killers. Saraikela police said Kanhaiya Singh would have been killed in Patna on June 20, but there was no opportunity.
On the night of June 20, Rajveer Singh, along with friend and shooter Nikhil Gupta, had gone to Patna with Saurabh Kisku, son of Congress general secretary Chhote Rai Kisku. Kanhaiya Singh was present in Patna that day. His location was also given by Aparna Singh. In Patna, Nikhil was provided with the native pistol by Saurabh Kisku. Saurabh had provided a country-made pistol and a bullet for 8,500 rupees. So far, four persons have been arrested in the murder case, including Rajveer Singh, Aparna Singh, shooters Nikhil Gupta and Saurabh Kisku, while two criminals, Chhotu Diggi and Ravi Sardar, are still on the run. Police have recovered clothes, shoes, a country-made pistol, a khokha and four mobile phones used at the time of the murder of the accused Nikhil. The case is also being investigated by the police.
