Lucknow: Violence took place at several places in Uttar Pradesh in view of the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act. It killed 19 people and hundreds of people including policemen were injured. Public and private property worth crores of rupees was also lost. Meanwhile, an exercise by the people of Bulandshahr has become an example for the state.

The people of Bulandshahr have handed over a demand draft of Rs 6.27 lakh to the DM on their behalf. Government officials are calling it a 'voluntary step of repentance'. SSP Santosh Kumar Singh said, 'This is a positive step. This has saved us from the long process of sending notices to the rioters to make up for the loss. ' It is noteworthy that CM Yogi Adityanath had given a stern warning to the protesters not to disturb. He termed the police action of recovery of damages as correct and said that every riot is shocking. Recovery will continue.

On the official Twitter of Yogi Adityanath's office, it is written that 'every riot is shocking. Every troublemaker is shocked. Seeing the strictness of the Yogi government, everyone is silent. Do anything, now the compensation will be from the one who did the damage, this is a declaration of Yogi ji. Every violent activity will cry now because there is a Yogi government in UP.
