The examination date for NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) may get re-scheduled by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The NEET 2016 phase two exam, which was scheduled to be conducted on July 24, will now be held some day later. According to sources, due to large scale logistic arrangements required to accommodate six to eight lakh candidates who are likely to appear for the entrance exam, the CBSE may change the proposed date.

The final order of the Supreme Court came out on May 9, according to which, it allowed the examination authority to make changes in the proposed exam date for conducting NEET phase 2.
