According to information, a dispute over 86 bighas of land between Bharat Singh and Bhoop Singh in village Dayabali under the Lakhanpur police station area has been on the rise. Both are from the same family. Due to this dispute, the matter escalated so much that the two sides came face to face and firing also started taking place. Pradeep Singh died on the spot due to bullet injuries during the same time. There was tension in the village over the massacre. The police force has also been deployed in the village after the incident.

Police registered a case against 7 people: Police, who rushed to the spot after receiving information, conducted a post-mortem of the body and handed it over to the family members. In the case of firing and murder, the police have registered a case against seven people. SHO Punjab Singh said a quarrel had started between two parties of the same family in the village over a land dispute. In which the firing was started, in which one person was killed by a bullet injury. The complaint has been filed. Action is now being taken.
