Helpless father in front of poor system! Carried daughter's body on shoulder for several kilometres

Raipur: Congress party is busy targeting the governments of the non-Congress subordinated by resorting to the issues, when the Congress itself has to deal with the same issues, the party stays away. How bad the condition of the common people in the states of the Congress party's own power is clearly seen from a video that has gone viral on social media. The viral video is said to be from the Sarguja district of Chhattisgarh in which a father is seen carrying his daughter's body on his shoulder. He did not even get an ambulance to take his daughter's body.  

The government has started condemning it since the video went viral. Health Minister TS Singh Deo has ordered action in the case. According to the information received, the father carried the dead child on his shoulder and walked for about 10 km. It is being said that the child lost her life at the Community Health Centre located in Lakhanpur village of the district yesterday i.e. on Friday morning and her father took away the body before the car could reach. The deceased girl's father's name is 'Ishwar Das' and is a resident of Amdala village. Ishwar Das had brought his ailing daughter Surekha from Lucknowpur CHC in the wee hours, where she lost her life. According to information received, the child had a high fever for the last few days and her oxygen level was very low. She was also being treated at the health centre, but her condition deteriorated and at around 7.30 am, doctors declared her dead. It is being said that the car reached the hospital at around 9:20 a.m. to take the body, but by then the girl's father had taken the body.

Health Minister Dev Singh, who was present at Ambikapur, the district headquarters on Friday after the video went viral, has asked the chief medical and health officer of the district to take action against the culprits after investigating the case. He also said, "I saw that video. It was quite disturbing. I have asked the CMHO to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.'' The minister said, "those who are posted there but are not able to perform their duties should be removed."
