Varun Dhawan revealed the first look of his upcoming movie October. The film is helmed by Shoojit Sircar and marks the debut of Banita Sandhu. October is slated to release on April 13, 2018. And finally today the first look of the most awaited movie is here. In the poster, the handsome actor is seen lying on the green grass and lost in thoughts.

 
Varun's full bearded look and bushy hair sum up the intensity of his character. Varun captioned the photo stating, "#OctoberFirstLook. October will live with you forever.@ShoojitSircar @ronnielahiri @writeonj @BanitaSandhu". This is the first outing of Varun with director Shoojit Sircar and marks the debut of Banita Sandhu as the female lead. 

 
In an EXCLUSIVE  with Pinkvilla, Varun spoke about how Banita should be given credit for his performance in the movie. "Banita is someone that I'm so fond of. I can definitely say that she's done an incredible job. The amount that she has given to this film, very rarely an actor gives that. You give so much and then there's that extra percentage where you don't give because it can harm you also. But, she went for it. If I had to give people credit, I'd give dada (Shoojit Sircar) obviously, Juhi and I will give credit to Banita also for myself in the film because if it was not for her, if it was not for her eyes, if it was not for her soul, I would not be able to be me in this film," the actor stated.
