Asur 2 has released its first trailer, starring Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti. The second season will debut on JioCinema, whilst the first season aired on VOOT.

Asur poses a threat to ascend to power and rule the globe, the formidable team of Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti will be back. The second season of the online crime series has been renewed, and it will premiere on OTT on June 1.

The ensemble star cast from the first season, which also includes Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Amey Wagh, Meiyang Chang, and Gaurav Arora, will return for the following year.

The first season of the show, which debuted in March 2020, concluded on a cliffhanger that left viewers wondering what would become of the enigmatic killer and the terrifying scenarios that had taken place. The second season's first look promo gives viewers a sneak peak at the plot, which will combine the wonders of mythology and the brilliance of forensic science to make for an unforgettable viewing experience.

Wednesday night's teaser begins with a voice telling us that"the world needs a new order" even as we see all the characters tense and in search of some answers. In an intense scene, Arshad points his gun at a person and says, “Tujhe apne bhagwan ko jawaab dena hai, mujhe kisi ko nahi (You are answerable to your God, I am answerable to no one).” The one-minute-long video builds suspense and leaves audience wondering whether the “dark side” will indeed win over the other side.

The new commercial includes multiple instances of the mask that was commonly utilized in the first season of Asur. The filmmakers have once more hinted at the conclusion at Dhananjay Rajpoot, played by Arshad, having a darker side. Nikhil Nair of Barun Sobti informs Dhanajay, “Saalon pehle ek galti kari, aapko roka nahi. Ab wo galti nahi karunga. Is duniya ko ek aur Asur nahi chahiye (I will not repeat the mistake I did years ago by not stopping you. This world does not need another demon)

While speaking , Arshad Warsi in 2021 said, “I am surprised as well as happy about completing 25 years in Bollywood. Mujhe laga nahi tha ke mein 25 saal tak tik paunga idhar. It used to be so frightening when I used to see all my peers disappear one after the another. I used to think ‘ab agala number mera hai’.”.”

Arshad has appeared in a number of well-liked movies, such as the Munnabhai series and Ishqiya. Arshad portrayed Circuit, Sanjay Dutt's sidekick in the Rajkumar Hirani movies Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munnabhai. The third movie in the series is still on hold for fans.
