Sheopur: An incident of gang rape of a minor girl has come to light in Sheopur in MP. It is being said that the girl had gone for a walk in the forest with her friend. At that time, 3 persons reached there and committed the incident of gang rape with her and fled. Based on the statement of the victim, the police have registered a case under the POCSO Act and started an investigation. However, the culprits have not been arrested so far.    

The same 15-year-old girl lodged a report at the police station that she was going to a relative's house from her village in the morning. During this, she saw her friend and both of them went for a walk in the forest. Three criminals Mohsin, Riyaz and Shahbaz, who were residents of the village, reached there and started forcing her. Her friend ran away in fear and the trio raped her.

On the report of the minor victim, the police station has registered a case under sections 376D, 376DA, 506 IPC, POCSO Act along with SC/ST Act against the three criminals and launched a search for the culprits. The victim's medical examination has also been done. The police claimed that the three criminals will soon be put behind bars. The culprits have been identified and searches are being conducted from place to place to nab them. At the same time, since this incident, the girl is very scared and is being guided.
