For the past few days, there have been continuous ups and downs in the political organization, where every day there is a debate about something new. And with this uproar, a lot of rebellions are also seen in the political party. Recently, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was quoted saying on Thursday that the government was ready to discuss and debate on all public issues including the present COVID situation in the State and the suffering caused by the recent rains, during the Monsoon session of the State Legislature that is about to begin on Monday.

“The government is also ready to discuss all the issues proposed by political parties even if it would mean extending the session by a few more days,” the Chief Minister said, even as he instructed the Ministers to get prepared to place all facts in the House so that people get to know about the government actions. The Chief Minister was speaking at a meeting at Pragathi Bhavan to discuss with Ministers and the strategy to be adopted in the session.

It was decided at the meeting that discussion and debates would be held on matters pertaining to the containment of coronavirus, medical treatment given to Covid-19 patients, expansion of medical services in the State, crop loss due to heavy rains and measures to be taken, the fire accident that took place at Srisailam Hydel Project, achievements in the power sector, the New Revenue Act and illegal construction of Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Scheme by the Andhra Pradesh government. Chandrashekhar Rao instructed all the Ministers to be up to date with all the information on issues that would come up for discussion during the session.
