Visakhapatnam: A video has gone viral from Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, in which a pregnant woman was compelled to deliver a baby on the road after the hospital did not admit her. The case is of Tirupati Maternity Hospital. In fact, when the woman started having labor pains on the road outside the hospital, strangers came out as 'angels' to help her.

They delivered the woman. During this time, someone present there made a video of this incident and made it viral. The video shows some women holding bedsheets to cover the pregnant woman. Whereas the woman is writhing in pain and a man is also assisting her in giving birth to a child. According to the report, the woman was allegedly told by the hospital staff that they could not admit her as no other person was present with her. The man who assisted her in giving birth works at a primary health center.   

After the delivery, the woman and the baby were taken to the hospital and now it has been assured that no pregnant woman will be denied admission even without an attendant. After the video went viral, Tirupati district health in-charge Srihari said an inquiry has been ordered into the incident. Strict action will be taken against those found guilty.
