New Delhi:  Since the Modi government at the Centre repealed all three agricultural laws, opposition parties, BJP politicians, and even governors have expressed their displeasure. Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik, who has previously spoken out on agricultural rules, did so again. Governor Satya Pal Malik conveyed his thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for dropping all three agriculture laws in a discussion with a popular website.

He also congratulated the farmers at the same time. ", he explained "People do not fully comprehend their fundamental rights and responsibilities. The constitutional position does not compel you to keep your mouth shut. Former President Dr. Rajendra Prasad rejected former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's Hindu Code Bill even while in office. I was willing to resign as a result of this. He went on to say, "It was a matter of seizing the farmer's property. Farmers will feel secure if this law is repealed. 'Despite all of these challenges, the farmers should be commended for keeping the movement calm.'

He also remarked, "At the same time, "I don't think farmers would give up or stop protesting unless MSP is guaranteed. Farmers are still having difficulty selling their crops on a wide basis, despite the presence of msp. In such circumstances, the government must give in to the demand for MSP. Governor Satya Pal Malik further stated, "Farmers would not accept anything less than the repeal of this law, and the administration knew it. "I cannot understand why the administration has reached this choice after so many months," he remarked at the same time.
