New Delhi: The film 'The Kerala Story', starring actress Adah Sharma, is in headlines these days. Sudipto Sen has directed this film based on serious issues like love jihad, conversion and terrorism. During an interview, Sudipto Sen has told how he had to face many difficulties during the shooting of the film. Sudipto Sen told that he is not talking about all these things because then it seems that we are doing all this for publicity.

Talking to the media, Sudipdo Sen has told that, 'We were also attacked. We don't want to say all that, because people think it is being said for publicity. But, the truth is, we had to leave the hotel at 12 midnight. After walking for three and a half kilometers, we had to leave that state, cross its border and enter another state and seek the help of the police there. But, in the end, it is very important that we have made a true film. The film's director Sudipto Sen also revealed that a Muslim singer who has sung for the film has been receiving threats, following which she has sought police help.

Let us tell you that during the shooting of this film in Kerala, the team had to face many difficulties. There were many such scenes in the film, which shook the audience to the core. The film was screened in the presence of hundreds of students and after the screening many stinging questions were asked to the guests. The film tells how more than 32,000 girls were first converted to Islam and then sent to Afghanistan or Syria to terrorist organizations. However, director Sudipto Sen claims that the figure is not 32,000 but 50,000 as the work has been going on for the past several years.

The makers of the film claim that the film is not a propaganda based film but is completely based on a real story. Makers say that whenever people do not have any logical answer regarding anything, they dismiss it as a propaganda based film. The director told that he has done a long research of 7 years for this film and has satisfied that every line, every word of this film is true.
