The very controversial project which stars Sunil Grover in lead role titled 'Coffee With D' is released today.

But the actor chose to stay away from the promotion of film as he was getting threats and wanted 25 cuts in the film, which the director didn't agree to.

The director of film Vishal Mishra says, "Sunil wanted 25 cuts in the film following the threats." Later, the actor of film tweeted: How do I promote something I don't know what is in it. Mishra says to this, “Sunil wanted 25 cuts in the film following the threats calls. Why should I let Sunil Grover see the film when he wanted to personally edit out all the scenes with Dawood Ibrahim’s controversial dialogues?”

He added, “He was instructed to eliminate those dialogues about Dawood, or else he would be faced with another kind of elimination. He wanted to personally edit out all the scenes that are the crux of the film.”

At last, he quipped, “I cannot reduce my film to an ineffectual condition just to appease threatening elements. Sunil Grover can afford to mess with the film. I can’t.It’s my baby.”
