USA: The caller identification service that goes by the name Truecaller is well known. Due to its live caller ID feature, the app is well-liked by Android users.However, the absence of the same feature on iOS stymied its growth.
The business wants to change that.In an effort, it has recently released an update that gives iOS users access to live caller ID for the first time.
Due to its live caller ID, which made it simple for users to recognise spam/unwanted calls, Truecaller gained popularity. There are currently 338 million active users of the Stockholm-based app.

Apple is very strict when it comes to third-party caller apps. Due to this, Truecaller was unable to reach its full potential in the iOS market. With the new update, the company hopes to remedy that.
A seamless experience is provided by Truecaller's live caller ID on Android. When an incoming call comes in on Android, the user can see the caller ID. It can be enabled without the user having to click anything.
You are mistaken if you use an iPhone and believe that the Truecaller live caller ID experience on iOS will be as seamless as that on Android.
Only Truecaller premium users are eligible for the new caller ID feature on iOS. Siri is also needed for this feature.

The feature will be available to Truecaller Premium subscribers on iPhones running iOS 16 or higher by saying, "Hey Siri, search Truecaller." Users of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max can use Siri without speaking by tapping the back button.
Siri Shortcuts and App Intents are used by the feature. On Truecaller, users must first select the "Premium" tab and then "Add to Siri."
You will be asked to grant Truecaller access to your device the first time you use the feature. You won't be prompted again if you choose to "Always allow."
Say the command now whenever you get an incoming call.
Nakul Kabra, product director for iOS at Truecaller, stated that the company has been experimenting with App Intents for the past few months since iOS 16 was made available to the general public.

"Earlier iterations lacked the necessary expertise to be used in the context of a live call. What eventually became this feature was one of the more recent iterations, he continued.
