New Delhi: The 39th Indian International Trade Fair (IITF-2019) will be a special emphasis on 'Ease of Business' to be held from 14 November at Pragati Maidan. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the fair. This time Bihar, Jharkhand have been made the focus states while Afghanistan has been made the partner country and South Korea has been the 'focus country'. According to the release of the trade organizer Organization (ITPO), the organizer of the fair, the venue of the fair will remain small due to the construction work being continued in Pragati Maidan. The exhibition will be organized in hall number seven to 12 and 12A and five big hangars of the exhibition site.

ITPO spokesperson said that the exhibition site is expected to be completed by November next year and the 2020 trade fair is going to be the biggest ever. This time the main theme of the fair is "Ease of Business". It is worth noting that India has reached 63rd position in the World Bank's Ease of Doing Business Rankings. In the last five years, India has moved up rapidly from 134 to 63 in the World Bank's Ease of Doing Business Rankings. In 2014, India was ranked 134 in this ranking. India reached 100th in the year 2017 and reached 63rd position in 2019. Bihar and Jharkhand have been made as 'Focus States' in IITF 2019, rather Afghanistan has been made a 'Partner Country' and South Korea has been made a 'Focus Country'.

According to the release, the first five days of the trade fair will be November 14 to 18 for business visitors only. The entry ticket for the traders will be Rs 500 per person while the single ticket for the entire season will be Rs 1800. This fair will be open to the general audience from November 19. Ticket sales will not be held at any gate of the exhibition site. Keeping in view the security and congestion, tickets can not be sold at the metro station of Pragati Maidan.
