Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Akhand' has pushed its release date which was earlier scheduled for Sankranti January 2022. Now, the team of Allu Arjun's film 'Pushpa', which has high expectations and relies heavily on the theatrical market too, is reportedly in second thoughts about the release date of the film. Whereas, the makers of 'Akhand' are reportedly planning to release their film on December 2 and are in talks with the distributors for the same. Whereas, distributors are reportedly hesitant to pay huge amounts as the AP government's new guidelines against hike in ticket prices and filmmakers producing huge budget films are incurring huge losses when they sell the film for less. Does matter.

Also, it has also been reported that the filmmakers of some of the recently released films have suffered due to ticket price issues in AP. Now, as reported by Film Nagar, a series of meetings are underway between Telugu filmmakers of big films to sort out their issues with the government and amongst themselves, and if 'Akhanda' releases on December 2, other producers Rest of the filmmakers - like 'Ghani', 'Agent', 'Shyam Singha Roy' will have to be persuaded to revise their dates as they have fixed their release date for Christmas.

The team of 'Pushpa' who have already started promoting their film may have to postpone their release date only if they fail to score enough numbers. Deals with theaters' distributors aren't impressive enough. Whereas, AP distributors are reportedly demanding a 30% cut in deals due to the new order from the AP government, which is yet to be revised. Hence, there will reportedly be a major change in the release dates of the film in the next few days.
