Patna: In today's time, it does not take long for any case to become an issue on social media, meanwhile, a video from Patna in Bihar has gone viral. Where some persons are beating up the magistrate in the presence of the police. The incident took place in the Khajekala police station area of Patna Municipal Corporation ward number 60. It is being said that the matter took place when the magistrate along with his team had arrived to remove the encroachments. In the presence of the police, people pushed him and assaulted him and hurled abused him. Seeing the anger of the crowd, the corporation workers also fled from there.

Due to this, the magistrate kept asking the police to save, save. But by then the men had beaten him. Some of the persons present at the spot made a video of the case and made it viral on social media. Magistrate Rakesh Kumar along with a police team had arrived with a JCB machine to remove the encroachments. In front of the police, people hurled filthy abuses and grabbed the collars and dragged him on the road and beat him up. 

The magistrate, police force and municipal officials and staff along with the JCB had arrived on Thursday afternoon on the orders of the collector to remove encroachments from near the pump house on the same municipal land. Police have registered a case and legal action will be taken against the culprits. In the same ward no. 60, the new water supply centre is to be built on the municipal plot of the Khirni tree. The plan has been stalled for a year due to encroachment. Complaints of encroachment were made to senior officers. A strategy is being formulated to identify the persons involved in the case and take strict action against them.
