The total cases of covid worldwide have crossed 13.64 crores, while more than 29.4 million people have lost their lives due to the disease. This information was given by Johns Hopkins University. The university's Centre for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) in its latest update on Tuesday morning revealed that the current global cases and deaths figures are 13,64,93,176 and 29,44,366 respectively.

It has been revealed that the US remains the most affected country with the highest number of 3,12,67,311 cases and 5,62,521 deaths in the world. India is second with 1,35,27,717 cases. According to CSSE data, other countries with more than 2 million cases are Brazil (1,35,17,808), France (51,28,140), Russia (45,97,400), Britain (43,88,296), Turkey (39,03,573), Italy (37,79,594), Spain (33,70,256), Germany (30,24,604), Poland (25,86,647), Colombia (25,52,937), Argentina (25,51,999), Mexico (22,81,840) and Iran (20,93,452).

Brazil ranks second in terms of covid deaths. Meanwhile, other countries with more than 50,000 cases are Mexico (2,09,702), India (1,70,179), Britain (1,27,346), Italy (1,14,612), Russia (1,01,552), France (99,294), Germany (78,572), Spain (76,525), Colombia (66,156), Iran (64,764), Poland (58,481), Argentina (57,957), Peru (55,230) and South Africa (5,53,030).
