New Delhi: Japanese automaker Suzuki's popular Access 125 has been unveiled for 2023 in India with a starting price of Rs. 79,400. (Ex-showroom).

The updated scooter keeps the same general appearance as the previous design. It now gets a 124cc engine that complies with OBD2-A and E20 standards and has an onboard diagnostics system that can assist in identifying critical system failures.

The Access 125 will overtake the TVS Jupiter line in 2022 to grab the second spot in total sales in India. The scooter is one of Suzuki's best-selling models in the United States.

Owing to its cutting-edge features including Bluetooth connectivity and all-LED lighting, it is well-liked by young consumers. Thanks to the MY-2023 update, it is now compliant with the upcoming emission norms.

The 2023 Suzuki Access 125 gets a chrome-surrounded square-out LED headlamp unit, apron-mounted indicators, chrome mirrors, single-piece seat, flat footboard, wide handlebar, grab rail and sleek LED taillamp. Its typical scooter silhouette.

It also sports a neo-retro aesthetic. It has Bluetooth connectivity, fully digital instrument panel and turn-by-turn navigation. The alloy 12-inch wheels support the weight of the scooter.

For the safety of the rider, the 2023 Suzuki Access 125 gets the Combined Braking System (CBS), which enables the rider to apply equal braking pressure to both the wheels with just the front brake lever.

This makes it possible to stop more quickly without the risk of slipping. The scooter gets a drum brake at the rear and a disc/drum brake at the front.

The Suzuki Access 125 from 2023 comes with Suzuki Ride Connect, which enables the rider to access the scooter's data via a special app. When connected to a smartphone via an app, the Bluetooth-based system displays turn-by-turn navigation data with estimated time of arrival, alerts for incoming calls, SMS and WhatsApp, over-speeding warnings and phone battery level information turns on. The 124cc, four-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that powers the 2023 Suzuki Access 125 produces a maximum output of 8.6 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. It is compliant with OBD2-A and E20. A CVT gearbox is attached to the mill.
