The renowned television program Ramayan created by Ramanand Sagar, will soon return to the television screen. The show which is regarded as the benchmark for Ramayan adaptations continues to enthrall viewers with its ageless tale. It is recently posted that happy new shows repeated as well as a sneak peek of one of the episodes.

Ramayan's reappearance comes at a crucial moment because Om Raut's upcoming movie Adipurush, which is also based on Ramayan, has been receiving harsh criticism. Despite the current debate around Adipurush, Ramanand Sagar's legendary program has been praised as one of the best representations of the Ramayan story.

The television show, based on the epic Hindu scripture Ramayana, won over audiences with its captivating storytelling, and stellar performances, and continues to be everyone's favorite adaptation of the show. The show's popularity extended beyond its initial run, as reruns and re-telecasts continued to captivate new generations of viewers

Viewers can once again embark on this divine journey as Ramayan is scheduled to start airing on Shemaroo TV on July 3. The series originally premiered on Doordarshan in 1987, with Arun Govil essaying the role of Lord Ram. During the COVID-induced lockdown last year, when film and television productions came to a halt, Ramayan was re-telecasted, receiving immense appreciation and love from audiences.
