Lucknow: Para commando Harvir Singh of Barabai village in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, was martyred in a parachute accident during a war exercise in the Line of Actual Control (LAC) of Ladakh on Monday. After this incident, mourning spread in the family of the commando. Commando Harvir Singh was also involved in the surgical strike on Pakistan in 2019.

The body of the para commando will be brought to his native village Baramai late on Tuesday evening. Harvir Singh, a resident of Barabai village under Sadabad, was a para commando. At present, Harvir Singh was posted in Agra. Let us know that, at present, war exercises are being conducted by the Indian Army in the Line of Actual Control Ladakh for several days. During Monday's war exercise, Harvir Singh jumped from an Indian Army helicopter.  

But during this time unfortunately his parachute could not be opened. Para commando Harvir Singh died in the accident. Father Sugriv Singh has said while talking to the media that Harvir Singh was also involved in the surgical strike in 2019. He was awarded the Sena Medal on the occasion of Independence Day. At the same time, the army has just mourned the death of its brave soldier.
