Gumla: A couple was killed by a servant with an axe in a fight over food in Jharkhand's Gumla district. Their daughter, who came to the rescue, also sustained serious injuries. The police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment. At the same time, both bodies have been sent for post-mortem.  

According to the news received, Satyendra Lakra used to work as a servant at the house of Richard and Melanie Minz, residents of Mazgaon Jamtoli village under the Raidih police station area. Late on Monday night, he attacked Richard and Melanie with an axe. Both died due to the attack. Hearing the noise, his son and daughter also reached the spot. It is alleged that Satyendra attacked them too. Richard's son escaped unhurt while his daughter Teresa was injured. She is battling for life and death in the hospital.  

Regarding the same case, the police officer says that Satyendra Lakra had a dispute with Richard Minz over food. After that, Satyendra killed the couple. Police have arrested the culprit and sent him to jail. The axe used in the murder has been recovered from him.
