Chennai is dealing with cyclone Vardah and it has adversely effected the set of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘2.0’. At the IT Park of Chennai, the crew of film had planned to shoot the sequence of film, so that set was fixed there but cyclone destroyed the whole set.

Informed by source, “The team had erected a set at a popular IT park in Ambattur where several films have been shot before. An office of the Artificial Intelligence Research Centre was created there. Even a military vehicle was seen near by. The shooting happened as per schedule on Sunday, but the crew had to quickly wrap and run on Monday when the wind picked up speed. The storm hit the shooting spot, leaving the set partially destroyed. This has forced the team to put a halt to the shooting mid way.”

The set of '2.0' because of rains and winds destroyed partially and the team left with no choice other than to work more to reconstruct the set.
