'Sex racket' was going on in the hotel, police arrived as a customer and then...

Nagpur: The social security department of Nagpur police in Maharashtra has busted a sex racket. The policemen themselves reached inside the hotel as customers. The sex racket was being run in a well-known hotel in an internationally posh area. Police have arrested an Indian agent along with two Uzbek women. Police have also recovered two fake Aadhaar cards from near the women. The criminal agent has been identified as 32-year-old Manoj Ganeshani, a resident of Jaripatka.

The deal was settled between one of the customers and the broker Manoj Ganeshani. Subsequently, Manoj introduced two girls from Uzbekistan. As soon as the customer's signal was received, the police team entered the hotel and busted the racket. On searching the girls' bags, two fake Aadhaar cards were found. The women had been living in Nagpur for the past one week.  

Sadar police have registered an offence under sections 420, 468, and 417(1) of the Indian Penal Code along with the Passport Act. The arrested criminals were produced before the court on Wednesday. Inspector Shubhangi Deshmukh, in-charge of the social security squad of the Crime Branch police in the case, said, "On Tuesday evening, a tip-off was received about an international sex racket being run at a well-known hotel in Sadar. Due to this, a customer with police team was sent to the hotel and raided."
