New Delhi, Their was hot morning in the city with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.4 degrees Celsius and very light rain or thundershower is likely in some areas later in the day.
The MeT office said, that the sky will remain partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is expected to be around 40 degrees Celsius.
Weather official said, "The minimum temperature was 28.4 degrees Celsius, in keeping with the season's average".
Moving towards the evening there is a likelihood of very light rain or thundershower in some areas.
