Lucknow: An elderly man living in the Mussoorie police station area of Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad has lodged a case accusing his son and daughter-in-law of torturing him. The elder alleges that he is a victim of paralysis, even after this, the son and daughter-in-law lock him hungry and thirsty in the room and go out for several days and do not even ask for medicine. After leaving the father's aunt's house, the son did not take care of him for three months, then the elder reached the police station and pleaded for justice.

The elder has levelled the allegations of torture on the son-daughter-in-law as well as the son's brother-in-law and friend. Police say that further action is being taken by registering a case against the four. Harry Fernandes, 71, a resident of Web City of Mussoorie police station area, told that he is paralyzed and his wife has died 22 years ago. His son and daughter-in-law lock him in a room hungry and thirsty for several days and go out. During this time, without food, water and medicines, he keeps on suffering.

The elderly man alleged that this torture of the son-in-law had been going on for a long time. He used to give advice by citing his illness, but even after this, there was no effect on the son and daughter-in-law. The elderly man has alleged that his son, along with his brother-in-law and friend, used to drink alcohol at home. When he resists, his son as well as his brother-in-law and friends also abuse him. Not only this, they also threaten to kill him if he disturbs their personal life. The elderly man alleges that he is forced to live in suffocation. The son and daughter-in-law don't even bear his expenses.
