Upcoming blockbuster Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal's teaser has been out, promising a laugh riot. Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu appear in the Tamil film, which depicts a love triangle involving Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Nayanthara plays Kanmani, while Samantha portrays Khatija, both of them are in love with the same man.

The teaser begins with Vijay being confronted by the ladies. Vijay, astonished, attempts to persuade both ladies that they are his first loves, but they are confused. The film then shows how the girls entered his life and their respective relationships with him. The teaser also indicated that the women do cross paths, which puts him in an awkward situation. In addition to Vijay, Nayanthara, and Samantha, actor Prabhu plays a pivotal role in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.

Vignesh Shivan is the writer and director of the film. Since Naanum Rowdydhaan in 2015, this is his first film with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Samantha Ruth Prabhu's first film post her split from Naga Chaitanya is Samantha Ruth Prabhu's debut film. In October of 2021, they separated ways. After the release of The Family Man 2, the actress took a hiatus from the spotlight last year. Samantha returned to the screen with a special song in Pushpa after taking some time off for herself. With Oo Antava, the actress lit up the screen.

The music for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal was created by renowned music director Anirudh Ravichander, while the lyrics were written by Vignesh Shivan.
