New Delhi: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh has spoken on the film - The Kashmir Files and the ongoing debate over Kashmiri Hindus. The Union Minister has blamed the then Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for the exodus of Pandits from Kashmir. Dr Jitendra Singh questioned why Mufti Sayeed did not take any action then? The dreaded terrorists were released in exchange for the safe release of the home minister's daughter.
Jitendra Singh also attacked Farooq Abdullah and Rajiv Gandhi. He alleged that Farooq and Rajiv had rigged the 1987 elections. This gave rise to terror. The Union Minister assured that the Modi government will soon appoint a commission of inquiry to probe the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits.
