Patna: An embarrassing incident in Bihar has come to light. A greedy doctor took advantage of the poverty of the woman who came for delivery and took her newborn from her for just 3000 rupees. This incident is at Madya police station under the Khagaria district.

Chandika Singh, a resident of Deori, went to PHC for delivery with his wife. Just then, a middleman took her to a new clinic. During this time the woman gave birth to a newborn on the way. The second child was born after reaching the clinic. After delivery, female doctor N. Bano demanded 7000 rupees as a delivery fee. But the woman was very poor, she could not arrange this amount of money immediately. Then the female doctor took her newborn child from her for 3000 rupees to the maternity and kept the child with her.

On the second day, the woman along with her husband and family reached the police station to report the matter. Where Police Station Ratnesh Kumar Ratna did not listen to them. When the matter intensified, the female doctor returned the child. Female doctor N Bano gave her clarification on the matter and said that she did it in view of the pathetic condition of the newborn. The doctor admitted that she had done a deal for 10,000 rupees. But the purpose behind this was to save the newborn.
