New Delhi: 5G internet services are going to start in the country from October 1. PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to launch the 5G service at the India Mobile Congress on October 1. With this, people's wait for 5G services will end. The National Broadband Mission of the Government of India has given information in this regard by tweeting today. Taking India's digital transformation and connectivity to new heights, PM Modi will launch 5G services at The India Mobile Congress, Asia's largest technology exhibition in India, the tweet said.
The India Mobile Congress is considered to be the largest telecom, media and technology forum in Asia. It is jointly organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). Experts say that India will benefit greatly from the introduction of 5G technology. The international industry body representing mobile network operators says that between 2023 and 2040, it is likely to benefit the Indian economy by Rs 36.4 trillion or $455 billion.

This will not only save people's time but many new-age applications will also be easily used. With the help of 5G, the customer experience will be better than ever, as well as now it will take little time to download or upload files from transactions. Through the fifth generation i.e. 5G telecom services, high-quality long-duration video or film can be downloaded on mobile and other devices in a few seconds. It will support about one lakh communication devices in one square kilometre.
