Nawada: A tragic incident is coming to light from Bihar where a debt-ridden family has embraced death. Late on Wednesday night, Kedar Lal Gupta, a resident of New Area Mohalla in the Nawada Nagar police station area, consumed poison along with his wife and four children. Five members of the family died, while the condition of one remains critical, she was referred to Pavapuri Vince by the doctors, but from there she has been referred back to Patna.
The deceased have been identified as Kedar Lal Gupta, his wife Anita Kumari and three children Prince Kumar, Shabnam Kumari and Gudiya Kumari. He was first referred to Pavapuri Vince but then has been sent to Nawada district hospital. Seeing the condition serious there too, Sakshi has now been referred to Patna. Kedar Lal Gupta used to run a fruit shop in Vijay Bazar of the city and he had a lot of debt. They were being tortured a lot over the loan, due to which everyone went to a Mazar in the city and consumed poison. Five members of the family died on the spot, while the condition of one girl was critical. He has been admitted to the hospital.
The police reached the spot as soon as the news of consuming the same poison was received. Due to this, the condition of Kedar Lal Gupta, the head of the family, was a little good. When asked why he ate poison? So Kedar Lal Gupta said that the family had a debt of Rs 10-12 lakh, and the family happily consumed poison. Subsequently, Kedar Lal Gupta was rushed to the hospital where he died. Before consuming the same poison, Kedar Lal Gupta's son Prince also made a video. In this video, he says, 'Had taken a loan from some people from the market and they were torturing us a lot, we asked for some time to return the money, but people were not ready to accept and were repeatedly threatening, about which everyone consumed poison.' At the same time, Sakshi said that papa was under stress, he had taken a loan, but we did not know. From whom did he take the loan? In response to this question, Sakshi took the name of one Manish Bhaiya. Well, the police are silent on the matter and are talking about investigating.
