New Delhi: In one of the biggest displays of combat prowess in recent years, the Indian Navy carried out a major operation in the Arabian Sea involving two aircraft carriers and over 35 frontline aircraft. The Indian Navy has conducted this big war exercise amidst China's growing assertiveness in the Indian Ocean region. This display of Naval power reflects India's commitment to safeguard its national interests, maintain regional stability and promote cooperative partnerships in the maritime domain.

Indian Navy officials said on Saturday (June 10) that naval aircraft carriers INS Vikramaditya and INS Vikrant were the focal points of this war exercise. It is also an important milestone in the Indian Navy's quest to enhance the Indian Ocean and power-projection. INS Vikramaditya and INS Vikrant act as floating sovereign airfields, providing launch platforms for a wide range of aircraft, including MiG-29K fighter jets, MH60R, Kamov, Sea King, Chetak and ALH helicopters.

According to the report, the Indian Navy has conducted twin-haul operations in the Arabian Sea (a part of the Indian Ocean) with more than 35 aircraft. Which shows our commitment to ensure air operations and protect India's national interests. The importance of the aircraft carrier will remain paramount in shaping the country's defense strategy and promoting regional stability.
