On Tuesday morning, a young man passing by in Rahmatnagar locality of Azamgarh district slipped and fell down into a pit dug for a sewer line. When SP MLA Nafees Ahmed noticed him while out for a walk, he took the young man out with the help of local people. Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has tweeted regarding this matter. In which raising questions regarding security, the government has been appealed to bear the expenses of the treatment of the injured youth.

This is the whole matter: These days the work of laying sewer lines is also being done in the district. At present, sewer line has started being laid in Rahmatnagar Colony. Meanwhile, safety standards are not being followed by the executing agency. Also, pits are being dug and left open for many days. In this sequence, a pit has been dug in the Ghulaami Ka Pura area.

On Tuesday, when a young man traveling on a bike passed by amidst dense fog, he slipped and fell into a pit. Due to which the young man became unconscious. Meanwhile, watching from a distance, a child reached the spot and was peeping into the pit. Then when SP MLA Nafees Ahmed, who was out on a morning walk, saw the child, he stopped there. He saw the young man unconscious in the pit. After this the said youth was brought out with the help of local people.

First the MLA then the SP chief tweeted: The MLA has also tweeted about this incident with the aim of informing Urban Development Minister AK Sharma, Urban Development Department and DM. When SP chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav came to know about this, he tweeted on this and said that 'the work of laying the sewer line is being done at a very slow pace. Safety standards are also being ignored, due to which the general public is having to suffer the consequences. The public should be saved from fatal accidents and the work should be done immediately. The government should get the injured youth treated.

In Azamgarh, the work of laying sewer lines is going on at a snail's pace and that too without keeping in mind the safety standards, due to which the general public is having to suffer the consequences. The public should be protected from fatal accidents and the work should be completed immediately. The government should get the injured youth treated.
