Lucknow: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has alleged major scams in the purchase of medical equipment, especially ventilators, in Uttar Pradesh. Sanjay Singh claimed that the ventilators purchased in KGMU for Rs 10 lakh were purchased elsewhere for Rs 25 and 27 lakh. He has lodged a complaint against the Yogi government minister at Hazratganj Kotwali in Lucknow.

Sanjay Singh has lodged a complaint against the Yogi government minister, principal secretary and some doctors in Hazratganj Kotwali over the alleged scam in purchase of equipment in hospitals during the Corona period. Sanjay Singh's complaint includes the names of Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna, Principal Secretary Alok Kumar, SGPGI and all doctors of Lohia Hospital. In Tahrir, it was alleged that state medical education minister Suresh Kumar Khanna and officials of the department had siphoned off crores of rupees in government procurement of medical equipment.

Sanjay Singh further said, "Adityanathji's ministers and officials do not want to miss any opportunity in the scam. Today, after revealing the scam in the name of Corona, I have lodged a complaint against the Minister and his officials for registering FIR under Sections 409 119 120B 13 (2) and 15 in Lucknow."
