After the death of famous Punjabi film actor Deep Sidhu in a road accident, a mountain of grief has broken on the family. Deep was the eldest son of his family. He has two more brothers - Mandeep Singh and Navdeep Singh. Deep has a sister Kiranjit Kaur. Apart from these, Deep Sidhu has left behind wife Namrata and 11-year-old daughter alone. Deep Sidhu has been cremated in Ludhiana.

The crowd gathered to bid a final farewell to the same Deep Sidhu. There were photos of Deep Sidhu in the hands of the youth. The youth kept raising slogans of Deep Sidhu Amar Rahe till the last rites. He was cremated at the Tharike crematorium in Ludhiana. On the occasion of the last farewell of Deep Sidhu, the family members were present with tears in their eyes. Thousands of youths reached with a photo of Deep Sidhu in their hands. They kept raising slogans of Deep Sidhu Amar Rahe till the funeral procession was completed.

The same Deep's brother Mandeep Singh is an advocate by profession. Youngest brother Navdeep lives in Canada. Deep was closest to his sister Kiranjit. Kiranjit has expressed grief of losing his brother in the discussion with the media. He said- 'My Veer (brother) was a diamond. Just make a call and they would come. There are many childhood memories that we have spent playing in the fields, swinging in the swings. He was a very happy person who touched the heights in a short time. He was always ready to help others. After the Red Fort violence, people tried to defame him but he was innocent.
