Lucknow: At a wedding ceremony in Gudamba, Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, due to excessive salt, the girl's side beat up the confectioner and threw him into a cauldron of boiling oil. Due to which he got badly burnt. The youth is undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital, where his condition remains critical. Gudba police is investigating the accused by registering a case on the complaint of the victim's brother.

According to the police, according to Chander, a resident of Shuvanshipur in Itaunja, his younger brother Gaya Prasad is a confectioner by profession. He does the work of cooking in marriage ceremonies. On Saturday (May 20), Gaya Prasad had taken an order to cook food for a wedding ceremony organized in the ground near Pal Traders, Atrauli, Gudamba. Saying that there was excess salt in the food, the bride's father Kisheri, his brother Umesh and other relatives started abusing Gaya Prasad and thrashed him.

Meanwhile, on seeing this, the accused picked up the confectioner and threw boiling oil into the pan. Due to which he got badly burnt. In a hurry, the friends got him admitted to the civil hospital. During this, he got scorched up to 70 percent. Inspector Gudamba Nitish Kumar Srivastava has informed that a case has been registered on the complaint of the victim's brother Chander. The investigation is going on, soon the accused will be in police custody.
