Patna: Monsoon activity continues in many districts of Bihar, including the capital Patna, these days and the weather has improved due to heavy rains. Due to the influence of cloud cover and rain, the temperature of other districts of the state including Patna has also dropped. On Wednesday, Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 28.3 degrees Celsius, down four degrees.  

Sitamarhi recorded the highest maximum temperature of 34.1 degrees Celsius after a decrease of 0.7 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Center Patna, light rain with thunder and thundershowers is forecast in 28 districts of the state on Thursday. At the same time, heavy rains have been warned at one or two places in East and West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Muzaffarpur, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj districts of the state.

According to meteorologists, the monsoon trough is passing through Jaisalmer, Kota, and Madhya Pradesh, low-pressure area Siddhi, Ambikapur, Jamshedpur, and Digha towards the northeast Bay of Bengal. In view of all these seasonal effects, there is a forecast of cloud thunder, thunder and rain for two days in the state. At the same time, the flow of easterly and south-easterly winds will be 12-15 kilometres per hour. On Wednesday, Nawada district recorded 86.2 mm rainfall and Patna 4.2 mm. Patna recorded 4.2 mm rainfall, Rajgir 72.8 mm, Biharsharif 71.6 mm, Ekangarsarai 62.8mm, Islampur 62.8 mm, Pachrukhi 61.4 mm, Sherghati 50.4 mm, Bihta 47.5mm, Narhat 46.3mm, Daudnagar 45.8mm, Ariyari 43.4mm, Bodh Gaya 43mm, and Nowhatta 41 mm.
