Mohanlal?s daughter Vismaya too has followed her father?s footsteps. No, she isn?t an actor, but an artist, a writer to be specific. Vismaya Mohanlal recently became a published author and her debut work ?Grains of Stardust? has been winning hearts. She has now penned a note, informing book lovers that ?Grains of Stardust? will be available internationally from August. And she also penned a note about what her book is and explained her perspective on arts.

?It?s a tiny artsy book, with snippets and drawings from a sketch book that I?ve had over the years. There are days when I like it and days I really don?t, but they?re all a part of me and my experience in some way. A little dramatic at times now looking back, but all honest to what I was feeling at the time,? Vismaya wrote in her note, detailing her book. She also added that she has been getting a lot of interpretations on her piece and claimed that art is subjective, there?s no right or wrong in it! ?I?ve had so many people ask me what exactly I meant when I wrote what I did for some of my poems, or tell me their understanding of what it is that I wrote, which is always really cool and interesting to hear. And yea, my answer to that is- if that?s what it meant to you, then that?s what it is. I know what it means for me or meant for me at the time I wrote it, but I?d like the reader to decide for themselves and have their own interpretation. There?s no right or wrong, it?s subjective. And that?s what I love about art, that two people looking at the same thing can derive two completely different meanings from their perspective and their experiences; and I think that?s beautiful, because now, it?s not just my writing or my art, it?s yours too,? Vismaya added.
