Delhi: After the lockdown, Raunak has now returned to the playgrounds. Top Indian golfer like Gaganjeet Bhullar, Shubhankar Sharma, and legendary cricketer Kapil Dev will be seen playing in a charity golf match to be held here on July 11, which will aim to raise Rs 1 crore for Coronavirus relief work.
This charity exhibition match to be held at Delhi Golf Club during this epidemic will be India's first live sports tournament which has also got the support of the country's top golfing institutions on Wednesday. The Indian Professional Golfer Tour (PGI) has decided to support this charity match which oversees the country's main professional golf tour.
The Golf Industry Association of India and the Golf Course Superintendent and Managers Association (GCSMAI), India's largest organization representing companies for golf equipment, have also pledged their support to it. 9-time Asian Tour winner Bhullar and 2018 Asian Tour number one golfer Shubhankar will pair up with Kapil and former Indian spinner Murali Karthik respectively.
