Uttar Pradesh:  In Kanpur, on Wednesday, numerous trains were reported to be running late due to the heavy fog and cold fronts. Most trains were operating six to seven hours behind schedule, according to the official authorities.

The official further stated that earlier announcements on the cancellation of several trains had been made.
