New Delhi: All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has requested Ulemas and intellectuals not to indulge in TV debates. A letter has also been issued by the board, in which it has been said not to participate in those TV debates, whose purpose is to make fun of Islam. By participating in TV debates, he is not able to do any service to Islam and Muslims, but only ridicules him.

AIMPLB has written in its letter that the purpose of such programs is not to reach any conclusion, but their purpose is to mock and defame Islam and Muslims. These channels use Muslim faces in debates to make themselves look fair and our ulema and intellectuals become victims of this conspiracy. If we boycott these programs and channels, then not only will their TRP be low but they will fail miserably in their purpose.
