Lucknow: As soon as the BJP government led by Yogi Adityanath was formed in Uttar Pradesh, the bulldozer started coming into the limelight, as the tenure of the Yogi government increased, so did the craze for bulldozers among the people and the fear of it among the criminals. Taking advantage of this fear, some miscreants conspired to fill their pockets, who have now been arrested by the police. In fact, two youths who were making recovery by showing fear of bulldozers in Sonbhadra district were arrested and challaned by the police on Saturday.
According to the police, information was received from the villagers that the houses along the Bina Bus Stand Road were being marked on the shops and bulldozers were extorting money from the people by showing fear of demolishing the houses. Acting on a tip-off, Shaktinagar POLICE Station in-charge Mithilesh Mishra along with Sub-Inspector Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Sub-Inspector Parasnath Yadav, Vimlesh Kumar, Adarsh Shukla laid a cordon and nabbed the two youths from near Bina General Manager's office.
During interrogation, the accused gave their names to the police as Rana Kumar and Amresh Raj, residents of Rehta Anpara, respectively. The said youths have also confessed to collecting money by showing fear of bulldozers. Police have registered a case against the two youths and issued a challan.
