In this case, thieves cut 2 sandalwood trees from the garden of the Panchvati Ashram and Kuma temple of Kumud Preeta Trust, adjacent to the Siddhpeeth Rajarappa Chinnamastika temple complex and the next morning when the priest saw it, 2 trees were cut down. The priest then informed the police about this and the police reached the spot and questioned the priest and the people around the incident. During the interrogation, the priest told that "The whole incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the garden."
