Patna: Amid the political turmoil in Bihar, Janata Dal (Secular) patron HD Deve Gowda said that the Janata Dal can prove to be a good political option for the country. Former PM Deve Gowda said that Nitish Kumar has decided to form a government with Lalu Prasad Yadav-led Rashtriya Janata Dal for development. Gowda said Nitish's decision made him think about the days when they were all united.

Deve Gowda said "I am seeing development in Bihar. I am once again imagining the days when the Janata Dal Parivar was under one roof. It gave three PMs. If the younger generation takes this type of decision, it is a good political option for this great nation.'' In fact, Nitish Kumar resigned from the post of CM on Tuesday afternoon. At the same time, in the evening, he staked claim to form the government in front of the Governor. He is going to form the government with the Grand Alliance. Earlier, Nitish Kumar broke ties with the Bharatiya Janata Party.  

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has reacted to the fast-changing political developments in Bihar. He said it's a good start. On this day, the slogan was given to the British to leave India. Today the slogan is being given BJP Bhagao. I hope now other parties will also stand against the BJP. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said about Nitish Kumar's resignation in Bihar that it is a sign that now the days of the NDA alliance are over. He said "We can see the change of guard in Maharashtra and the subsequent changes in Bihar.'' Apart from this, the CM described the central government as arrogant.
