Prachi Tehlan, the actress of famous superstar Mammootty's film 'Mamangam', is being searched a lot from South films to Mumbai these days. When Prachi Tehlan started searching for a role similar to Parveen Babi in a web series being made on the 70s of Hindi films, the makers of these series started searching for her.
It was found that Prachi Tehlan neither has any base in Mumbai nor in Chennai, Hyderabad or Kochi. Prachi, a native of Delhi, has played in sports like netball and volleyball for the country before coming to the field of acting and has also won medals in the Commonwealth Games. She said she has been receiving threats over the phone ever since she filed a criminal case against her husband Rohit Saroha. She is being chased and unfamiliar faces are seen at every location where she has lived. And, that is why she is not able to focus on her acting career.
When asked if she is coming to Mumbai right now? Prachi said that she is tired of going around the police administration. But now she is in danger of her life when she goes out, so she is not going anywhere. Prachi said, "Jaan hai toh jahaan hai and if there is no life then what will happen even after acting." They say that instead of catching the miscreants, the police are making them travel from one state to another. And, now she is planning to quit acting altogether. Prachi Tehlan made her mark with TV's superhit serial 'Diya Bati Aur Hum' and then made her mark on the big screen as well. Prachi's last film 'Mamangam' was released in Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi. Apart from the Gulf countries, the film also did good business in India. Since the film became a hit, news of Prachi's marriage started coming. Prachi Tehlan, a national-level netball player, has been famous in Mumbai in addition to South Indian films.
