Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government runs the Maternity Child and Girl Child Scheme for pregnant women. Under this scheme, pregnant women of the country receive assistance of Rs. 25,000. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to women before and after delivery. So that she can take care of his health. Under this scheme, both son and daughter get the benefit. If the woman has given birth to a daughter, then 25 thousand rupees and if the son has given birth, then 20 thousand rupees are received. The working woman would receive 2 months salary for abortion. Financial assistance is also received on adoption. However, there are some conditions regarding this scheme. As if working women are registered. She is a permanent resident of UP. The minimum age of a pregnant woman is 18 years.
