Ranveer Singh is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood today. He has worked in various hit bollywood films like Lootera, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, Gully Boy, Simmba, 83. Now one of the highest-paid actors once faced the casting couch in Industry.

At Marrakech Film Festival during an interaction, the actor opened up about his experience Ranveer was talking about his three-and-a-half-year struggling phase in Mumbai, before his bollywood debut. The actor, recalling his ordeal with casting couch, said, "This guy calls me to this seedy place and is like, 'Are you a hard worker, or a smart worker?'. I didn't consider myself to be smart, so I said: 'I think I'm a hard worker.' He was like, 'Darling, be smart, be sexy'.

He further added, “ I had all those kinds of experiences during those three-and-a-half years, and I think it was that period that makes me value the opportunities I have now,".

On the personal front, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in 2018 after dating for a couple of years. The couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on November 14, 2022. Ranveer wishes his wife wrote,  He wrote, “When she has to work on your anniversary so you surprise her at her office... Never underestimate the power of flowers and chocolate. Diamonds not needed buahahaha. Take notes and thank me later, gentlemen .”

On the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar which failed at Box office. He will next be seen in Cirkus, an adaptation of Shakespeare's play The Comedy Of Errors. He will also star in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, co-starring Alia Bhatt.
