Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar both are the superstars and enjoys the huge following. Both have won the hearts of the fans with their performance and charm. The two superstars of Bollywood have never worked together for a full-fledged film. While they have shared screen space in short scenes like that in Om Shanti Om and Heyy Babyy, the two actors have never been paired with each other for any venture yet. The real reason behind this is not clear but Shah Rukh seems to have cleared the air a little bit in a recent interview.
In a recent interview, with DNA Shah Rukh explained why the association never happened. While he would love to work with Akki, there are certain conditions that definitely apply. When the actor was asked if fans would ever get to see him pairing on screen with Akki. SRK replied, "What do I say to this? I don’t wake up as early as him. I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So he can put in more hours of work. I’m a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me."

when Shah Rukh was asked to imagine a hypothetical scenario when the two would be working together on a film, he said, "It will be fun to act with Akshay. Both will not met in the set as Akki will be leaving the set and SRK be coming in.
